Bush Pickle is great if you want to make pickles but have limited space. Instead of a sprawling vine, these cucumbers are produced on compact, bushy plants making them especially good for small gardens or containers.
The plants measure only 3 feet in diameter at maturity yet they produce a large crop of 4-5 inch pickles. Pick fruit often and for best flavor do not permit them to grow too large. Pick pickles smaller for gherkins. The cool mild flavor of these pickles also make them a good choice for slicing and using in salads.
