The Salvia Blue Hill (Salvia BLUE HILL ‘Blau Hugel’) has glowing purple stems loaded with true blue flowers that bloom from June to October. With its gray-green aromatic foliage, it makes an attractive accent all summer long.

To increase bloom time, Salvia Blue Hill should be cut back after the first bloom. This flower is nearly impossible to resist and even the butterflies, hummingbirds, and beneficial pollinators can’t get enough of it.

You cannot fail with this hardy, container gardening Salvia, and it will provide you with excellent cut flowers too. If you plant it next to Sedum ‘Matrona’, Achillea ‘Coronation Gold’ and Saliva ‘Snow Hill’ you will have a fantastic and colorful landscape.

Salvia Blue Hill is an excellent summer container item and impressive when you plant it in mass plantings in large beds. You will not just want one brilliant Blue Hill plant. Place it in groupings of three or five!
