Known as scallions or green onions this variety produces long edible stalks instead of bulbs. They grow long and tubular with white bottoms and green tops both are edible and great in salads, soups and stir fries.
Plant 1-3 inches apart as they tolerate close spacing, they don’t need room for bulb formation.
